Cinnamon Roll AIsyahPar yang lazat
CINNAMON ROLLS recipe.
Dough:
1 cup milk
4 Tbsp butter, cut into cubes (60gm)
3 1/4 - 3 1/2 cups flour
1(.25 oz) package instant yeast - 1 paket yis mauripan
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg, lightly beaten
Filling:
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup butter (113 gm) - tak payah melt. sapu je macam sapu kat roti.
Glaze:
1 - 2 cups powdered sugar
2 Tbsp melted butter(optional)
1/2 tsp vanilla(opt)
1 -2 Tbsp milk
Mix all until smooth.
A
1. Warm the milk..melt the butter and sugar until dissolve.
2. In a bowl mix salt and instant yeast with 2 cups of the flour.
3. Make a well inthe centre and pour in the milk mixture and the beaten egg. Mix well and add in the remainig flour, half a cup at a time and mix well until it becomes a sticky dough.
4. Knead further on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until dough becomes elastic...gitew..
5. Cover with damp cloth. Leave for dough to rise double in size.
B
1.Heat the oven to 325F (160 C)
2. Grease 9"x13" baking tray/pan.
3. When dough double in size, punch dough to let the air out and roll out to 9"x12" sheet.
4. Brush surface with melted butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar and lastly with ground cinnamon.
5. Roll up the dough (from the longer end) and pinch along the seam to secure the fillng.
6. Cut into 12 pieces and arrange in the greased tray/pan. Cover with damp cloth and leave to rise (about 10 mins..).
7. Bake for 25 mins
8. Pour glaze while still warm.
